Magic! Nah, I won't be indirect with you.
It's actually really simple. In the description there is a link to the original image. I opened this image in Photoshop and literally traced it with the pen tool. When I put it that way, it probably makes it seem less impressive.
What is the point in doing this?
Well, what I've made is a vector - an infinitely resizable image that uses shapes, rather than relying on pixels; this one in particular is made up of 53 different shapes. So it's basically a high-resolution replica of the original raster image. Vectors such as this one make it easy for people to create works such as comics, desktop wallpaper, etc. without it looking like a pixelated eye-sore. Otherwise, people wouldn't bother making vectors.
So, technically, this isn't really my creation; it's just a high definition copy of what somebody else did (which is why I give credit in the disclaimer). That doesn't mean this was easy to do, though. It can be easy, but sometimes it takes several hours to complete a vector. However, I do have some vectors that were made out of my own drawings.
I'm glad you like it! The support is much appreciated!
