I like shuttle 3, but I also like shuttle 1's pylons. Shuttle 5's rollbar however; looks like it belongs on an Oberth class ship. awesome detail though....

That rollbar pod had a long evolution before it wound up on that shuttle. In the very beginning, it actually *was* an Oberth pod, except I had it stuck on the rollbar of a Miranda class where the torpedo launcher normally is. Eventually, I developed my own "Lang" class to replace the Miranda/Oberth kitbash, and made an original pod. These shuttles are meant to go in the Lang class' shuttlebay, so I reused basically the same pod, shrunk down, for continuity.

The showroom is in Starbase 901, New Canada system, Trans-Briar Patch sector, which is where my fanfic takes place.

Actually, the showroom is one of the built-in Carrara settings. Basically, it is an infinite, blue-tinted floor plane, mediumly reflective, and a blue sky with some puffy clouds above.

Great work Rich, I like the roll-bar variant the most I guess, I'm just a sucker for ships with roll-bars but it seems to have a little more "character" than the other variants.

Yeah, the other two are a bit on the plain side. But I've never really been a huge fan of greebles for the sake of greebles. I suspect the shuttles will evolve more little details on their hulls as I render more pics.

Actually I've been trying. The geometry around the windows is all messed up though and I haven't been able to straighten it out yet. I supposed I can upload the original Carrara files and the OBJ's if anyone else wants to try their luck.
