thanks! yeah the d70 really is up there with the best for IR. strangely i didnt buy it for its IR abilities- but it has converted me into an almost exclusive IR photographer

i used a Hoya R72 infrared filter on a nikon d70. Basically it filters out all but certain wavelength of light. the light is near infrared.
You have to set white balance and exposure all manually as it messes the settings up. The images come out brown (like in my gallery), you then do a 'channel swap' in photoshop which swaps the blue and red channels to get that blue hue seen in the image
