Drawing without a reference is nice because you can draw whatever you want... the problem is when you don't know what to draw
The other problem is that sometimes characters come out wooden and lifeless.
So yesterday I decided to practice a little, and do some drawings "from life". Using my large collection of resources (aka: the porn folders...
) I did these quick ones.I will be using these eventually in a better drawing, but I like how they turned out.

Thanks for the critique, but this was drawn 10 years ago, it doesn't represent my current style and level of skill.
I don't want to discourage you from commenting, but I would recommend that you check when drawings are submitted and if the artist has made some progress since then before critiquing it.

My inspirations and much older than Len or any modern anime. At the time was more Aeon Flux (not anime but I still like it) with some influences like early CLAMP (think Magic Knight Rayearth).
My current style is more semi-realistic
