Yes, the idea is that her hair, she has obviously lots of hair, is wrapped up in a latex bun. 
And with 'futuristic nurse uniform' you're kinda right. My interpretation for this is that she just walked away of the hibernation capsules after checking them out. If that makes her a nurse or technical medical assistant... it's splitting hairs (in latex buns).

Yeah, I'm a bit slow at the moment with new work. The temperature is too much for me. Adding 1-3 MacPro cheesegrates into the mix to render and the room temperature goes up 4 degrees or more. When it's already 26C in the morning and 28C in the evening that's not healthy. :/
