Description For pplz who keep asking what I use to draw so here we go!

Digital

I do NOT use a tablet.

I do EVERYTHING on my cell phone. I use a Pixel 2 (XL?LX?). The screen is big(at least to me) so drawing on it isn't too hard.

I don't have a stylus. I use my finger to make everything. I don't recommend doing this, if you can get a stylus, please do. Using your finger for a long time can really hurt.

The apps I use are ;

•Autodesk Sketchbook- Drawing and Speedpaints

•Medibang Paint - Drawing for Streams

•Flipaclip - Animation

•Kinemaster - Editing Videos

•Befunky - Editing Drawings(Especially traditional ones)

•Eraser - Making Drawings Transparent

And all these apps are FREE.

You don't need an expensive tablet to make cool stuff. Just grab a touch screen phone and with enough hand breaking practice, you can make anything!

Traditional

You don't need to spend a fortune on markers to make great art.

• Crayola Material, Markers, Crayons, pencils, ect. - Gets a lot of flack for being for kids but once you know how to use it, you can make anything look good.

• Art Markers - Limited on colors but cheap for a bulk set and good quality.

• KiddyColor - Basically cheap kid markers but they come in a variety of colors. They are very cheap for a bulk set. Not good for full coloring but great for shading.

• Yoobi - Very limited colors but the brush tip and fine tips are good for small details.

• Artist Pens - Come in a lot of colors but sold in different sets. Cheap and great brush tips.

•Sharpies -You can never go wrong with sharpies.

Okay. Is this good? Okay? OKAY.

I have to acknowledge your dedication to your craft. Despite using less conventional tools to create art your skills as an artist completely shine no matter what medium you're using!

I can really respect that.

True that.

I don't use any fancy programs or tablets either. All my lineart is traditional because I'm a broke ass bitch. XD
And even that took practice.

When people ask me for tips on how to improve their art, I always tell them: it's not *what* you use, but *how* you use it. Your art isn't going to be necessarily better just because you own a tablet. Some people who use tablets honestly don't have better art than people who don't and vice versa.
I think it's hilarious when struggling artists believe they'll suddenly be granted magical drawing skills by buying expensive products.
Just some advice to those out there: start with pencil and paper. It's cheap and effective.
