Hm hm, this is actually not real rain, sorry to destroy your fantasy
Real rain is pretty hard to capture. I think it's because the contrasts of rain drops to backgrounds are weak and it's usually too dark to freeze them in the air with a low ISO.
So those drops are from a spraybottle ^^

Well it looks great anyway! But no wonder I have such a dreadful time capturing rain. I do get good snow pictures in motion sometimes!

At the moment? Not really. I've meant to post them but editing/cropping always seems like it's a bit of a bottleneck for me.

The composition on the photo is quite good!
Some tips: be sure the mushrooms as center of attention are in focus | use a small f Number to reduce distracting details in the background and get a nice Bokeh

I noticed also that my mushrooms were falling out.
Note: I did take my Nikon...but never used it. All the many photos I took were with my Samsung 8MP. And, sadly, under settings, there is no MANUAL FOCUS. Soooo glad you wrote back...and thanks!

Ah, I see. Had a similar Samsung digiciam before and mainly bought a Sony DSLR to have manual focus

Yeah, the Samsung is 2 additional MPixels than my (old) D40 Nikon.
Each has their advantages...and I just went for more resolution!
