You can find houses like this all along the rails in Germany.
The "Deutsche Bahn" lets most of the buildings go to waste nowawadays and does rather invest in the trains and stations itself.
The house you can see in the picture was probably the home of the person which looked after the trains switches.
Probably vandals destroyed the windows, increasing the speed at which the wood did rot. The door was wide open, too.
The table seems to be have some color on it, securing it a bit from the decay elsewhise.
The roof however already was partly broken, due being builded mainly out of wood.
On the floor you can see both glass pieces of the lamps and parts of the ceiling.

I find it astounding that so many of these abandoned places exist in Europe, but in huge, vast, empty Canada, everything gets torn down and rebuilt right away...
It could make an interesting location for a model photo shoot.

But Canada has this super-amazing rain forest I want to visit some day!
Yes indeed, I saw some people shooting portraits in abadoned buildings before!
I really would like to photograph in a safe abadoned place, but I don't really know anyone in this age.
The other extrem with someone very old would be very interesting too, but again, it's hard to get someone in this age to make a photoshoot in an abadoned building.
