Hey, sorry again about what happened last Friday, and... I didn't think it would affect me so much, but I am glad you walked me home. One less paranoia I had to worry about after what happened. And yes, I managed to sort things out and even figured out who called the hit, also ensuring it won't happen again. No, nobody else got hurt or ruined, I just sent a clear message that both any further actions on their part would end badly for their image and I would be leaving them alone from now on. In fact, I think I might stop my side activities altogether - at least for long, long while. Huh, true, that does mean I'll have more focus on our jobs and more time to myself. I'm trying not to let this rattle me, so I agree focusing on other things will help. I know you feel like you haven't helped me much, but... thanks. Both for your support on the job and being there for me on Friday. I'm not that great at this sort of thing, but know I consider you a trusted friend and coworker. Now with that settled, let's dive back into our client work - I know we'll do great this week.
