Ok... i think this is by FAR the best thing i've ever submitted...My 3rd attempt at digital colouring, i'm learning a lot about this, and i already know a lot of things i will do differently next time :3
Lines drawn and inked traditionally with HB pencil then inking pens.
Colour 'n' stuff all done in Photoshop 7.0 and all done with a TOUCHPAD!!!! X_X
Downloaded and used these fire brushes [link] , they're really COOL LOOKING!!! XD

Haha, yeah, well i made a couple mistakes that i couldn't be bothered to go back and correct, i ended up cropping the fire which gave it a blocky... not fire feeling x3

I've not tried digital colouring but soon Rico, soon I shall. But from how I imagine it, and knowing that you only used touchpad (I know the one, that one on your shitty laptop that plays portal better than my [old] PC), this is rather impressive ^-^
Also, cool pic in itself. It's like the snowman from 'The Snowman', but a furry and a you.

If you know how to use layers and opacity on something like photoshop, or any other program that provides those features then you're pretty much sorted for colouring. try avoiding getting into the habit of dodging and burning since it gives a kind of "plastic" feel to the drawing, of course if you like that method then by all means stick to it, very good by the way, I was thinking of posting a tutorial on how to colour, care to help me with it?

That is EXACTLY what i used to say, but now, i'm hooked, and also, i seem to be alright at it! As opposed to my aweful traditional colouring (which take a lot more skill and practice) X3
