This is the first time that I used a prerendered background. Over the past year, I have progressed from an analog artist (pencil and paper) to a digital artist. Along the way, I have embraced cropping and resizing, mirroring, and many new advantages to drawing on a digital canvas. While I still strive to actually learn how to draw backgrounds this was a fun experiment.
