I've been also always wondering, why in many cosplays women are only 'sexy beasts'. Even in many computer games, when a female character wears armour, she needs to have her boobs been shown o.O Just, generally

Well besides insulting the cosplayer, you are also insulting the photographer. This is an art sight, therefor if you have something to say, you could try some actual constructive criticism. You could do a critic (providing you know how, as I know some people donβt know how to do real critic), and provide valid input. All I see is an angry person spouting hate, and nothing more. I even went to your DA page to get some insight. Unfortunately your comment here contradicts your ID post. I guess being on DA for 3 years destroyed your will for good intelligent conversation, because this sure does not make one wish to have one with you much or have much to do with you really.
It is perfectly fine to not like someoneβs art, beliefs, or many other facets of life. You can even argue the point if you so wish, providing you can do it politely. There are many art forms I donβt care for, but that does not mean they are not still art. I just choose not to view them, as you could do in this case. Just as one choose to not eat foods they donβt like, or take part in others beliefs system one does not believe in. Quit simple really, rather than try to tear down some one, and spread more hate. There is plenty of that going on already everywhere else. To be quite honest, it just makes you look less the person. Unless this is your intention and you wish to surround yourself with fellow haters.

This young lady is quit talented, makes just about everything herself, has a great carrier doing what she loves, and even rehabs baby squirrels which my wife really loves, and are quit adorable. She really is an amazing and passionate individual. Now if this makes me a white knight, I gladly except the title and will stand firm as such.

If you'd like to spend your middle-aged years on the internet defending someones' tits, that is your business. Insulting me for having my own opinion while trying to shove yours down my throat makes you just as childish. Think about your own diction before you make accusations. But I imagine your previous students got a good laugh at your attitude and hypocrisy, at least.

That fact you thought I was trying to ram my point down you thought just solidified my point. I mad mostly thoughtful suggestions, and mad one bit sarcastic remark. But the point you are arguing could be said about your wedding picture, Oh but I am sure that is a totally acceptable circumstance in your little world. The whole point of what I said was there are better ways of delivering your message, other than trying to tear a person down the way you did. There is respectable opinion, and then there is just being rude. You are just being rude, and passing it off as you opinion as I am sure most can tell. I fully believe in the first amendment, but using it to be hurtful or hatful for the soul purpose to puff oneself up is just being mean to be mean. Yes, my wedding photo is the exact same as taking a particular time period's clothing, ripping the front open (In perfect chainmail bikini style, I might add) and parading push-up bra clad breasts that OP doesn't even have to begin with.

While I agree with what you said, don't you think that is a little harsh? You can't blame her for all the people commenting about her breasts. I watch Heroes of Cosplay and she is a very sweet person IMO from what I see on the show. After all it is a costume and not her everyday attire. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

You're right, she can only control the comments of her deviations based on what she herself decides to post. If she enjoys being nothing but a pair of boobs then that is her business and it is her right to pursue it.
But like I said, I doubt she can have a face or a personality when she is essentially building a fan base around her chest instead of the quality of her costuming. It would be different if she made an effort to moderate her comments and discourage talk about her body rather than criticisms actually relating to the other kind of "meat" and "substance" of her cosplay/photographs.

Perhaps the price of material went up and she can't afford enough to cover all of herself lol. I get what you're saying though. In comics, fantasy, etc... people create characters with"unrealistic" characteristics so it's kinda fitting for cosplay. Now if she was going to church or something with all that exposed that would be different. Cosplay generally let's you be something you usually aren't. I doubt she exposes herself everyday lol. I don't understand why women expose themselves and once it gets beyond a certain point it's trashy and disrespectful. I don't think she crosses that line.

God forbid a woman does something that makes them feel pretty, right? Can't have people feeling good about themselves or else you'll have nothing to complain about. It's rude as hell to shame someone for doing something they like, and if you think it's objectification for someone to do something they want to do, then you really need to read up on what it is, and go do something that'll have an actual effect on real objectification of women.
That all said, this is a really bangin' cosplay, and I'm jealous of the craftsmanship that went into making it.

Oh, pardon me. I suppose I've been doing pretty incorrectly all of my life. Here I thought it was about self-esteem and confidence, rather than showing off as much cleavage as possible.
But if you'd like me to take a different direction with this, then I can oblige.
We'll talk about the costume itself, then. The hood appears to be good quality and sits on her head nicely. However, I don't recall any female character models having an inch of exposed black push-up bra. That is out of character and makes the costume, even of decent quality, look like she is part of a strip club catered to gamers.

Don't you think that was a little rude to say this to someone who took this picture of her own free will? No one forced her to dress in this way, no gun to her head. Sure the comments might be about boobs but most of deviantart's audience is 13 year olds going through puberty. I'd also like to point out it's in the style that's similar to women's fashion around the French revolution. (Don't believe me? Look here:Β www.americanrevolution.org/cloβ¦ ) Granted hers is a little tighter around the bust but that also could be because she likes to show off her boobs.Β
Side note it's really not cool to put down someone for their cosplay they made and for being comfortable enough to show off their body. It honestly comes off like those shitty sjw's you claim to hate so much.Β

Even tho you are right, this is an Assassin cosplay. If you think logical about it, her suit would kill her. And that's what is bugging me. I get it that girly cosplayers like to show their boobs but it ruins this cosplay for me. It makes it incorrect, very incorrect and it annoys. (Especially because you can basicly see her bra!). It's her choice, her cosplay and she has to do whatever she wants. But that doesn't make it correct ofcourse.Β

Most of my problem honestly was with the person was basically putting down this cosplayer for wearing it. Honestly If I was doing an assassin's cosplay I'd be making it similar in style to Mary/Kidd in Black Flag. You have all the right to think that way and when I wrote the comment I hadn't noticed the bra in the picture. It wasn't till I went back after a friend pointed it out that I noticed.
