Holy hotness. Also, this picture is interesting, because parts of it look like it was painted like a portrait, but I don't know if that was just an effect of the lighting, or if it was touched up.

Brilliant Tifa, but I'd expect nothing less.
There's one detail that seems different to the usual though; that thicker panel across the front of the top. I'm curious as to where you get the reference that suggested that from?

Just a design element I liked. I added a bunch of small things, Such as a strap and button on the leather arm sleeves, the paneling on the skirt, the elbow pad is quite a bit different then most. I use the art as a guide but I do my own translation on it.

I couldn't comment on the skirt beyond that the original game had a limited number of polygons for a character, but the additional fastening detail on the sleeves made sense, and the characters each (Tifa included) have about 10 different weapons each, all of which look different.

No worries! I like to translate the costume into real world items. For instance more people see her in a tank top, but I thought it would make more sense for her to fit in a fitted sports bra

I agree; that said I always saw her as wearing a tight crop tee shirt over a sports bra (so we clearly agree that she needs a sports bra for support).
