This is dreadfully cute. There's just something adorable about the idea of a hugely pregnant girl aggressively getting her nerd-on - especially when she manages to incorporate her own hugely gravid state into her own trash-talking. Mommy's certainly got a mouth on her - lord only knows what sort of put-down salvos she'd be able to launch if she were pregnant with twins, or even triplets!
Makes me wonder what sort of person her child is liable to grow into...
I love her attire here. Her casual, nerdy attire - particularly the stretched-out mushroom t-shirt - seems simultaneously fitting, and yet at odds with, her prodigiously swollen state. I love how her belly simply dominates the majority of the space on the chair, resting between her legs like a well-puffed beachball on a pedestal. Her expression is simply adorable, her look of caustic annoyance clashing with the maternal overtones created by her mighty midriff.
A wonderfully cute, playful piece, with oodles of personality.
