COMMENT PLEASE!!Some preliminary stuff for my part of the art trade with *AosakiKeiko , who wanted a picture of Blaster "Chillin' like the cool bot he is."
I don't think I've ever drawn Blaster before. But after this page of sketches I'm not so scared to try anymore.
My little brother bought me the 86Transformers movie last night (It was a surprise, but he used my money).
I have such a love hate relationship with that movie. One the one hand, I saw it before the rest of G1, so I don't hate Hotrod or the rest of the season three cast. Also I have a total joy spasm whenever I get a glimpse of that wonderful 80's animation.
The part where Unicron transforms in particular. The way all the machinery works together makes me squee somethin' awful.
On the other hand, I have seen the rest of G1 by now, and I get really heart broken when I see all those beloved characters dying.
(Incidentally I'm listening to "the death of Optimus Prime" on my ipod right now).
And so that's me down in the corner protesting the death of the Autobot Leader.
I believe S.O.C. (Save Our Convoy) while focusing mainly on various incarnations of Optimus Prime, is also for the preservation of the other Autobots and Decepticons who have fallen all throughout the multiverse.
And that's it. The end.

Can anyone out there enplane to me why on Earth the end theme for the movie "the cave" is "Nemo" by Nightwish???
I saw it again about a week ago (first time since theaters) and was quite baffled when the credits started rolling.
Soo... ???

Unicron's transformation was probably one of the top three things that happened in that movie, he also had a damned nice voice. In all othe Transformer variations no one is even coming close to matching the simple and awesome style of Movie Unicron. 'twas a good time, though really makes me want more drawn movies...

I miss 2D. 
I wish someone would make a new movie in the 80's style. With crappy old sounding music and weird coloration problems! No matter what it was about, you can bet I'd be first in line at the movie theater. :3

Any American produced animation at this point that wasn't overly simplified cookie-cutter stuff would be grande~ I know it all gets made by the same people overseas...but variety...spice o' life n' all. Give us some old glory~

Exactly! There are so many styles they could be trying out! Even with 3D. Why's it got to all look alike? D:
On the up shot though, They're making another one of Neil Gaiman's books into a movie. It's 3D but it looks like clay. Coroline I think it's called.

Lol! Yeah, I always have trouble with the Autobot symbols foresome reason. So I didn't even try.

I haven't seen the cage, but Nemo is supposed to be a real philosophical question.
I can't remember what God or what pagan religion he was, but he came down and asked a very brave man, "What is your name?" and the man said, "Although I am a hero, I am, to you, nothing in comparison." and they spoke about how men will never be equal to gods; so the God gave the man the name "Nemo" and that would be the name Man has forever, for it means "nothing" or "of little worth."
I could be a bit off on the telling of that story, that's just how I remember it.

The name "Nemo" always reminds me of the clown fish from the Disney Pixar film. I am well aware that your statement has to do with that version of Nemo by the way.

The cave is just a movie about a bunch of cave explorers who get trapped underground with a bunch of monsters and a freaky virus thing. (which isn't actually that freaky at all.)

As far as monster movies go it's pretty Meh. But if you like to look at pretty caves it is so the movie for you! (I went to go see it with my mom, who used to be way into caves. it was a fun outing.

Lol! Well this was just a practice sketch, so I wasn't going for perfection. Basically I just wanted a vague idea of what he looked like. The problem with getting reffs for these Transformer types is that EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT BLOODY WAY OF DRAWING THEM! D:
So it was a little hard pinning down exactly what I wanted. Thus the legs/crotch hovering in mid air with no body to belong to.
