What I don't like is when I get 13 favorites and no comments at all. :[
It's kind of disconcerting in a way. You're sort of left wondering what those thirteen people actually liked about the picture. >.>

I can say that I know what you mean; I also get way more favourites than comments.
But to me those faves are already enough, someway.
Btw, usually when I add a fanart to my favourites, it's because two things:
- First of all, I liked the way it has been done;
- As a secondary thing, it's becaue the pict is about a favourite character of mine.
Like in this case, I faved it because of both the reasons
But often I fave picts even if the character is not one of my favourites (for example: sometimes I fave picts about G1 Galvatron, or Starscream), simply because I liked how the fanart turned out ^^

Yeah, like it said in the artists comments, I don't usually make a fuss about not getting comments and such. Faves are fine too. It's only really when I get zero comments. Not even one. That's when I start getting weirded out. >.>

Thanks! I was pretty happy with how it came out.
Drawing mechas is hard, but after you've been drawing them for... what, two years? (XD) they become much easier.

Do you use photoshop? If so then I can give you a couple of tips on drawing the glowies. (Though I only just figured it out myself. )

Yeah....I don't draw that often ;..I really ought to get on that ;;

And yes...I do have photoshop 8DDD...I have the one that came with my tablet [Bamboo fun..].....buut...I think it's photoshop 6 or 7...or something ...I don't remember T^T

Tips would be much appreciated 8DDD....I'll be sure to give you credit for helping moi XDD lol

Lol! Now I'm sorry about being late!
Just kind of lazy I'm afraid.

I'm not really sure my tips would actually be helpful, but they're free so...

One, Glowies and shine show up a lot better when the colors you've laid down on your picture are dark.

Two, only add the shine/glowies after you've already shaded and lightened your pic with regular paint.

Three, when you are ready to add shine/glow, create a new layer above your line art. It should be set to Normal automatically. Change it to read "screen" instead.
Then just fool around with colors and shades and brush opacity until you get what you want!

Aaannnd, That's all I guess!

And I don't think you could never do that effect! (If you're using photoshop, set one of the top layers to screen and then fool around with colors and brush opacity. You'll see. )
