Surrey looked down at Aiyden for any signs of life. A single eyebrow twitched, and he shifted his head making her lose her breath. “Aiyden!” she cried as she curled back over him.

A thick fog around his senses began to lift. The sound of the ocean filled his ears, his body warmed from the heat up against him, and the smell of coconut kissed hair filled his nose. “Surrey...” he barely said aloud.

“Yeah! Yeah, I’m here,” she wept as she stroked her fingers into his dreds.

Slowly, his eyes began to blink open and all he could see were her crystal blue pools looking right back into his. He moaned softly, content having her near. “W-you marry me?” he hardly moved his lips. Surrey couldn’t keep herself from laughing joyously and pressing her face up against his as her tears fell.
