My Avatar music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfMdA5…

hey guys i'm a new Avatar fan and this is my first piece for the series. I only started watching a month and a half ago and i absolutely loved it. some friends of mine turned me on to it, and without them i may likely have never tried watching it.

the big NICKELODEON'S claim over Avatar is what first turned me off and made me think yeah they're just trying to be anime, fakers ....

I've bitten my tongue. Avatar truly surprised me, not just in the animation, but the story development and characters.... In particular, Zuko and Uncle Iroh. They are easily my favorite element in Avatar. Uncle is such a humble fountain of wisdom, while Zuko is strong-willed and often blinded by pride, they balance each other perfectly.

This scene was such a beautiful depiction of humility and forgiveness it brought me to tears.

This is my first piece of fan art of Avatar, so it must be my favorite scene, or at least the one that's stuck with me the most.

medium is just a mechanical pencil (size 0.5) on sketch paper with digitally enhanced contrast. i may color this eventually, either by hand or digitally, but there's just something about raw pencil that i love.

THE MOST PRECIOUS SCENE IN THE WHOLE SERIES. You definitely did justice to how powerful their emotions were! The way Zuko and Iroh are holding onto each other here looks like they'll absolutely never let each other go. It's both heart-paining and heart-warming.

Wow! Great art that honors that father/son bond that Zuko and Iroh share with one another. These two together what made show great. When Zuko had no one there was always uncle who everything he need it he just did not know it. Zuko become a great man thanks to his uncle love. This part was my very favorite part in show because it show that real father's love so amazing. In the words of another great man who was true daddy in guardians of the galaxy he might be father boy but he was not your daddy. These two what made avatar great show and thanks for this wonderful tribute to them. I like think that Iroh will live in zuko's heart forever as person who shape him in man he became. I only wish that others make art like this to honor them. I just hope my comment makes you happy as it did me to see such great art as this. Thank you.

I cried so hard at this scene and got pretty emotional at their other scenes (like when Iroh was in solitary prison and he wouldn't talk to Zuko or look at him, just cried quietly at the wall). I am 26 and just binge-watched all the episodes for the first time. I don't know why I waited so long; I had no idea what I was missing, and also had reservations about it being an American production. Great show. This drawing is very emotionally charged, I think you really did them justice.

Great depiction of this scene! The raw pencil really brings out the mood in this piece. If it was colored i dont think it would have as much impact because it would, imho, would make the mood happier. really good job! You should do a collage of all the sad scenes

I think it's perfect without color. The raw pencil just makes it feel like such an organic, real moment captured by an observer. <3 Marvelously done, and welcome to the fandom~! Don't forget to check out reddit.com/r/thelastairbender!! I found you through that, and I'm sure your future fan art (and general presence will be welcome there~

Whenever I watch this scene, I hear When God Ran in my head. And the prodigal son parallel works completely unaltered to account for their actual biological relationship, because in my mind, Zuko ceased to be Ozai's son when Ozai burned and banished him at 13, and instead became Iroh's son.
