lol well this looks crappy scanned in. it's kinda old so it's gotten beaten up a little bit. i forgot to date it, but i'm gonna take a guess and say 2002 is when i did this. it's all colored pencil. you gotta love prismacolor ^_^i might redo this sometime, there's definitely some things i would change to it if i were to redo it...

i actually don't use em anymore. i've upgraded to copics. more expensive but the result is fantastic, it's also what a lot of professional manga-kas use, such as toriyama and oda

Oh, I see. Well, when you buy copics, do they come in sets or do you have to buy them individually? I know I'd have to. And each copic would cost all my daily allowance! @_@ I guess that's why I don't have the courage to buy even one.

you can buy them individually or in sets. i started off with selecting 36 colors, and they gave me the carrying case for free. i got them at a convention.
otherwise it's rare to find them in stores. usually have to order them, but it's cheaper that way. online they're maybe 4 bucks each, while at a store they could be over 6.

i can't believe this was done with color pencils. it looks like you used markers, not a bad thing though. >< nice reflection on the sword. i love the dark tones in this.
