UPDATEWassup everybody! It's been a while since I away from dA. sorry bout that
and I heard so many requests about the title bar bug on 8.1 from you guys. so, I fixed it
Here it is! sorry for not updating this theme for a while

Use Small Icon in Taskbar
Installation
Install the fonts Included (if not loaded with theme, try to restart, then apply theme again)
Copy the contents of "Theme" Folder to C:WindowsResourcesThemes
Apply the Visual Style from Personalize

Copy shortcut to desktop, Properties > Change Icon

Hello. This vs is very sleek and as much as I want to apply it to my windows 8 pro, it seems that I can't.
If you don't mind, may I ask for some assistance?
I followed every instruction you have posted but I get a very big task bar instead and the vs is broken, i.e., it doesn't look anywhere near what it should look like.
Here's what I did:
1. Downloaded all the files.
2. Placed vs files to themes and font folders respectively.
3. Patched using ultraux, rebooted, applied the theme and failed. So I uninstalled ultraux.
4. Patched using uxstyle, rebooted, applied the theme and failed again. So I uninstalled uxstyle. But here's the weird thing, after I did that, my pc went into a blinking loop after reboot, so I had to do a system restore.
Now, I understand that you posted about taking control of some .dll files but it is specified that it is for x86, so do I need to do that step (I skipped that step as I am running pro x64)? And if so, what are these .dll files specifically?
Lastly, thank you for reading this and I hope someone can help me out. I really like this minimalistic theme.

it should also work on a x64, i guess.. the 3 DLLs are
1.uxtheme.dll
2.uxinit.dll
3.themeui.dll
you should take ownership those DLL files before installing the UltraUXtheme patcher.. then you will be able to make your theme work..

In love with this! Really crisp work! Got one thing that annoys me thought. The selection colour. Cant see when I select folders or files. Have no clue where I am at. Other then that it's stellar. No bugs that I have noticed other then that. I kinda wish I had time to do a w8 vs as good as this one! Looking forward to see more visual styles from you. PEACE!
