Haha, yes, I can picture that being the case. Still, during the trilogy I don't think it ever seemed like that between Phoenix and Maya, only Pearls thinks they are a couple and that comes as a recursive joke throughout the series. So for me Phoenix x Iris is still the pair that makes the most sense.

I think you're just over analysing this work LOL. Never did I notice that thing on his hat. I knew it didn't resemble much the original, so I just left it that way XD. At that time I was even more limited in drawing that I am now... And that's what explains pretty much everything. xD

At times, I simply try to say more than just the regulars , hence why I might seem to be "over analyzing," but that's what having been in art class (or in general) has taught one (at least, in my case). ;] I'm not all too familiar with Naruhobo's design either, except there was some kind of face on it. XD;;

I'm fine with over analysing. I just thought it was funny since everything you mentioned where things I hadn't thought of when I drew them (for example, I didn't want to draw Phoenix hair, hence why I went with the hobo clothes). It was that kind of logic. xD

PS: Crap, now I bet this deviation gained the upper hand on most commented in my gallery (I really want Phoenix/Iris to win >. lol

Oh... Sorry, I misunderstood you. Well, as I said, that drawing does have some flaws. Phoenix should be taller for starters and etc... But anyway, don't think of Phoenix as he was in Apollo Justice. The one that's portrayed is the regular Phoenix whom we all love from the pw trilogy wearing Hobo Phoenix's clothes (they look cool). xD

Well, I assume you played through Trial and Tribulations. I'm gonna try not go into much detail here but

SPOILERS

well, I don't really know xD. But I mean, the whole case (3-5) was a total emotional roller-coaster. The way you learn about the truth and how they say goodbye (Phoenix/ Iris) to each other was so... sad. ;_; Probably one of the only pairings that really comes through in the game. Phoenix x Maya is a cute pairing too, but sometimes I can't help but think that neither Phoenix nor Maya sees each other more than really close sibling.
