Every mission was inevitably followed by a visit to the Cyborg Body Wash. He’d take it off, and put it in the machine for a few spins.
A few extra BP for an extra thorough cleaning that removed the toughest dirt and blood from the battlefield.
Comfortably ensconced in one of the well-used chairs, he lazily flipped through a few magazines to pass the time.
He was in the market for a new car.
Moistening the tip of his spine, he idly turned the page, mulling over the countless ads. Used cars were scandalously pricey these days. It figures….a million BP isn’t what it used to be.
Lost in thought, his gaze drifted to the clock……., 10 more minutes.
