I’m from and my word was Colour.
This piece is very eyecatching, like most of your other Volcano pieces. I like how you gave the red lava the white and yellow highlights to make it look like proper lava, and how it contrasted against the rest of the piece. I think you used the watercolour very well and the strokes are clean. I like how the colours match in a palette but still stand out and don’t blend into each other. Something you could improve on is making it look more like its underwater, as I didn’t actually know it was until I read the description. You could add some little underwater creatures that live near volcanoes next time. All in all, a very well made piece of art.

Thanks a lot for commenting! I guess underwater volcano is not the most common thing one would think about.
I thought about adding some creatures around on the final piece (because this is a study for something potentially more detailed), but as I have no idea what depth it is, I do not know who lives there. But it occurred to me that it would be fun to paint black smokers with all the weird creatures living around them.
