Another very atmospheric piece! I like the gentle touches of light, especially on her eyes because this makes them look really alive.Β 

Her expression is really interesting too. I can't decide whether it's sad/sorrowful or 'steely' (for want of a better word). Maybe it's kind of a mix, but yeah... it's the kind of expression that has a story behind it, I think.Β

Yeah. But since the day I commented on a bunch of deviations including yours, I haven't commented on any others. I'm reading a really good book at the moment (The Secret History by Donna Tartt) so I'm a bit distracted by that, and I'm also trying to learn my driving theory so I can (finally!) learn how to drive.

You're excused, reading a really good book is excuse enough. So you're getting your driver's licence? How exciting! I really love driving, though I was scared out of my pants that one time I went to England back in 9th grade. I always thought we'd crash right into oncoming traffic.

Well, I'm hoping so, haha. My sister has her driving test on Tuesday so she's waaaay ahead of me.

That's great to hear! I only did 1/3 of the recommended amount of test questions for preparation for the test, and only got one question wrong on the actual test.

Interesting. See, I'm really worried I'll not do enough prep for the theory test and then fail it, but everyone tells me it's really easy. Apparently it involves a lot of common sense, but I have been known to lack that, haha!

Well, it's true, you can get most of the answers right with common sense alone. Though you always have to read the questions carefully, we always had a few that were intentionally phrased to mislead you. Since when do you lack common sense?
