Description "Try to forget what objects you have before you - a tree, a house, a field, or whatever. Merely think, 'Here is a little square of blue, here an oblong of pink, here a streak of yellow,' and paint it just as it looks to you, the exact color and shape, until it gives you your own impression of the scene before you."

Hey, thanks so much! I really appreciate you saying so.

As for tips, I'd say take multiple photos, each from a different angle and/or height, and possibly a different position on the tracks. From there, choose your favorite and/or the best of the bunch, and see what you can do from there! For this photo, I know for sure I cropped a lot off of the top and bottom to get that panoramic look. Hope that helps, and feel free to ask any more questions you might have!

That does help a lot. I've learned that taking it from different angles sometimes leads to shots that nobody's ever seen before of something that might seem very common place. I'll have to go through your gallery to see what other gems I can find.

Oh, absolutely! Not to mention keeping your eyes open, because you never know what you will find.

Also, thank you very much for the favorite, and for taking a look through my gallery! I hope you like what you find.

I love your tracks photos. Are these the same tracks as in other photos or are they different tracks?

Thank you, Wisp.

Most of the photos are on the same stretch of track, though it is broken into two segments. The photos you've seen of the overgrown tracks are one segment, while the photos with the cleaned-up tracks such as this one are of the other segment. The one exception is my photo A Change of Direction, which was taken on a nearby line.
