Finally they're here and just about.... well unfinished! lolI've been itching to get this done quick but my "activities", ahem, lets say were getting a bit in the way! lol
But I finally have them done and oh in the first hour of 2010!! Enjoy the sprites, please give credit!, and have an amazing new years!

I like how you were able to add 16-bit shading to 8-bit sprites, in this case, Mega Man. My only concern is that the skin color on his head is a bit too light to recognize the where the eyes are.

Thank you! I totally see your concern, too. This was a sprite sheet that I made way back when as I was just beginning spriting and doing pixel art, so yeah. Thanks for the comment though

I have a HUGE favor to ask of you. if it's too much work, you don't have to do it. I'm definatly not the spriter you are, but in need a few sprites. not an entire sheet but i need a robot smoke, lui kang, and if you can, a raiden. Keep in mind that you dn't have to do it.

I was actually thinking of going back and editing these because I feel these are a bit old and out of rubbish. Plus its been a while since Ive sprited and stuff.
I just got the gamemaker program not too long ago and everything is like reading hieroglyphics to me. lol Any suggestions on stuff to do or advice? Itd help a bit.

How about the very basics first, You already know how to make a sprite, but to make an object you need to make a blank one, aply the sprite you what to give it, and give it events. Events are in a cause and effect format. For example, the event would be key press 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
I got the whole walking animation thing down and the jumping animations too buuuut how do you make it stop the animation? And how do you make the collision event?

To make the object stop the animation, choose event Key release Left, give it the effect of changing to the idle sprite, and make the movement the very middle option, the square. that means stop. and the jumping, sadly i don't even know

collision is where the oject touches another object, but let's go to shooting next, is that ok
