trying my hand at the increasingly popular 'cartoony' style, and this fell out of my head.I could imagine Bats starting to feel like a worn out soccer-mom back in the early days....

So, who was playing Solitaire? I know it doesn't really matter, but I'm curious . Looks like they like beachy desktops.
Great pic, BTW.

lol, i thought the desktops on the bat-computer were hilarious to do but wasn't sure if anybody would notice. turns out many did. Funny how in every movie, tv show or whatever, nobody uses windows to run things, it's always custom operating systems with fancy fonts
this was my attempt to spoof that a bit

Personally, I liked the BatMan stories where he had no sidekicks, Robin flew solo (before he joined up with the Teen Titans in that rather odd cartoon), and Barbara Gordon hung up her BatGirl costume for good (though I wondered why she wasn't wheelchair-bound in the BatMan Beyond cartoon).
It's not a bad drawing, though.

Comment-jacking I know, but... Babs wasn't wheelchair-bound in the "Batman Beyond" universe because of the technology advances. There are comics that sort of continue and expand upon the "Batman Beyond" world, and in several stories, it's brought up that there is some sort of technology implant designed to help Babs walk again. It's not perfect, as she's sometimes in pain (it managed to electro-pulse her brain-signal back to her leg muscles or something, but there's still tissue and spinal damage that will never completely heal,) and at times there are functional problems that can occur in the tech that will shut it down and render her unable to walk again for short periods of time, but that's the official "excuse" for Babs in that timeline-verse, if you will. Again, sorry for comment-jacking your thread, but I saw you mention that and wanted to tell you why that was.

i have to agree 100%... i prefer batman as a lone wolf, I can even handle him as the badboy of the justice league, but having him run around with a bunch of kids? makes it less about batman and more about babysitting
which is why i made this pic

Well, back in1940, it was Bob Kane's idea to have BatMan get stuck with a sidekick named Robin, and so the tradition continued until the 1980s.

lol... thanks...
robin, with his trim and almost girlish wasteline, mistook batgirls belt as his own... that's where he found the note

glad you liked it... i thought that the solitaire was a nice touch too, normally i regret throwing 'real' pictures in the backgrounds of drawn ones... but this time it works

But, a windows desktop in the batcave?! It's gonna crash when he gets his next bat-signal
Personally I love mixed media in art, it make it look more fresh, but that's my way of thinking;and btw excelent concept.
