Many people in multiple fandoms sexualize and fetishize characters from the fandoms they're in.
In multiple fandoms there are fanartists who draw canonically straight characters as "homosexual" or canonically cis characters as trans, and then will say shit like "[character] says transphobes/cisphobes r gross!!" when people ask them to stop forcing their supposed "headcanons" onto people in the fandom.
I don't know if it was a joke, but an artist took Hamilton characters [aka real characters based off of real people] and made them along the lines of "trans, does cocaine, lesbian" and etc. I really don't care if people HC characters as homosexual or trans, I just don't appreciated it being forced onto me when the character is canonically straight/cis/etc when I see them that way, and then being called a [insert thing here]-phobe for asking them to stop.

Technically, we could actually exist without heterosexuals. Wow, shocker, right? I am NOT heterophobic in anyway, shape, or form, even though I'm gay, doesn't make stupid enough to hate straight people. But, technically people can have sex without love or sexual attraction, so technically, gay people could keep up the population, destroying over-population with it. Though, having the entire world be gay would be pretty problematic, because you need some more children being produced, just not as much as we have now...
