I have to disagree.
I'm white and I'm scared to walk into my school because I have been beat up for being white.
I have had some cis friends of mine very hurt because they were being bullied online.
I know that's kind if sensitive but when you're on the edge of suicide and low self confidence the last thing you need is that kind of push.Β
I agree there's been some nasty cases of homophobia and transphobia. I have suffered transphobics myself.
But I've seen very vicious cishate as well.
I can't say for more than what I've experienced but I can say the LGBTQ community, which I am a part of, need not be so vile towards the SCG communtiy. As it is counterproductive.Β
Cis, straight, etc. Are all eccapting LGBTQ and the last thing anyone needs is more vicious hate.

I agree, to some extent. I've never heard of anyone being bullied for being straight as it's the automatically assumed sexual orientation for most people. This stamp is very strangely worded. There's no Heterophobia. But there is misandry and racism towards whites. I've seen it. Trust me.Β
But what there is is people who hurt others, mostly verbally, for not agreeing with homosexuality. Unless of course i'm mistaken and there is such thing as Heterophobia. I know for a fact hate towards people who don't support homosexuality exists being a victim of it myself.
Ironically while most of the people hurting me for it are the type of stupid people who've never met a homosexual or bi person. Who apply stereotypes to such people and those who call things gay behind their backs.
Those freaking people get loved for being hypocrites because at least they say they're ok with homosexuality but people like me who don't agree with it but won't let it affect my opinion of person AT ALL unless it directly hurts another (such as abuse) who have homosexual and bi friends whom I've never even thought for one second that their sexuality would affect how I view them. and that I have no right to try to change them as it's their body not mine. And their sexuality is not what makes them them and it's no more a part of their personality than it would be a part of my personality for me to only like guys.

I certainly wouldn't call it Heterophobia though... because that's not to do with me being heterosexual. Because I know loads of Heterosexuals who would lay down their lives for gay rights so why on earth would people discriminate heterosexuals.

And yes, this is pretty silly considering all the hate homosexuals get. Sure, I don't agree with homosexuality. But I also don't agree with Abortions and Blood Transfusions. Why in the world would I hold someone getting and abortion or a blood transfusion against them if 1) That's not a defining thing about their personality and 2) If they're not even my religion they're not under the rule I am. Sure, I believe the rules in my religion are good and I should follow them but if others don't want to then that's fine by me. Rather have someone follow them who wanted to than force something they don't believe on them. There's no point in that and it helps no one.
Cisphobia just sounds like a joke. Who in the world would have a problem with people who are happy with their gender at birth. That's like basically... no wait it is... hating anyone who has their natural gender. I'm confused who even thought that was a thing? XD
But seriously, would you consider me homophobic from what I've said. I've got my own opinions and I'm not going to change them and I feel like that's the best way to go about things because I feel like changing my beliefs because opinions might upset some people would be just as bad as someone asking a gay to stop being gay because it's wrong... it's their beliefs, their life and I know people HATE it when people say that it's their choice, but it is in the end, a choice. No, not to be attracted to your own gender, I've had it myself, but to pursue that is just a much a choice as for a straight person to make a move on someone that they like. Like an honest opinion without a flame war. Because that's not what I hope to come out of this, more an understanding that not every person who doesn't agree with something will hate, judge or condemn someone for actions they make.
