I actually did this earlier and posted it meh Tumblr, but I really liked how it turned out and would like to have it on my main site.
It was a sketch book sketch at first, that's where all my little vent art pictures go and never see the light of day ever again.
This one made it out somehow. They're usually all crappy, I can never draw good when I'm upset. I have to be in the mood and when I'm upset the only thing I wanna do is cut, not draw. So I tend to stay away from my sketch book since not being able to draw makes me even more upset and that's when I do the REALLY stupid things.
Solars always meh vent art baby, I relate to his face most. I always considered myself to act more like a boy, that's pretty much how I was raised. Don't get me wrong, I'm straight, I have a boyfriend, just a major tomboy is all. Boys are associated with being strong and meh whole life I had to learn to be strong. Being strong means keeping things in, cause damn the moment people find a weakness. In my family, once that weakness is found you're viewed that way. Every time someone looks at you it's just pity and shame. We never say anything about it, just like how we never talk about feelings, and never talk about how this very thing ruined my brother. Every time my peeps take me to therapy there's just a feeling of shame and disappointment that never goes away. My peeps deny it, but you can just ask my brother. He snapped because of that and now no one thinks of him the same. He actually was weak. Deal with your problems to where it only effects you. He should've known no one was going to handle it right.
So yeah. I'm not in denial. This is what being strong is. So if you're like my therapist and like my friends and keep telling me I have problems when I don't! Then you can go live with the squirrels. I'm not one of those people that likes to shout out those sort of titles. That's not very common these days.
