There's Viggers (things that give you powers like Possession, Fire, Water, and other really cool ones. My favorite is the death by crows) the first two and Infinite are both really different story wise.
The first one your a dude and go to an underwater city named Rapture. There the people have gone insane by Adom (I think. Its like this drug thing everyone took) and you end up saving the little sisters. (They can only grow the adom within women/girls) they go around the place collecting Adam from dead people.
The second one is also on Rapture not sure what the story is but I know you play as a big daddy (The little sisters protector) and you have a daughter I think. That was once a little sister and now a big sisterΒ
In BioShock Infinite (My favorite) you play as Booker Dewitt, a drunk that has been hired to go the the floating city of Columbia (IN THE SKY YO!) to find the girl and wipe away the dept. But holly shinapples do things go so wrong! Its just so epic (FREAKING MIND BOBBLING!) NO REALLY! I only watched the gameplay and it for me thinking "What is real in life....0-0" not to mention the new Viggers and abilities with the tracks arejjust so plan awesome.
There's a DLC with Booker and Elizabeth that takes place in Rapture. I don't know much about that tho.

Its awesome. Inifinte is the best. Elizabeth can open tears (portals to another domention) and they keep going into them to the point when they can't ever go back. Its so so cool
