A 'social document' my lecturer called it. I was stuck for ideas to paint so decided to go with; my life. My kids to start with.I have done these scetches big, all about two meters by something. I wanted to do imposing pictures of situations where my children exhibit challenging behaviour... When the main experience of motherhood is not enjoyment and adoration.
So far I haven't managed imposing yet, but I have my camera at the ready to capture the perfect tantrum...

Schjerfbeck maalaa niin kauniisti, ja vissiin kattelinkin niita sen kuvia niihin aikoihin kun maalasin tan. Schjerfbeckin maalauksissa on semmoista rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta mita ma en oikeen osaa : )
