Kiosk in Tel Aviv - IsraelAs I am doing it from time to time, Friday morning I am grabbing my camera (the D800) and my "lens backpack", I am heading some "starting point" in Tel Aviv. Yesterday, as the weather was fantastic and unusual for this mid-November, I exploited it and spent several hours taking pics, while Sarina is preparing the lunch for me and the rest of the family located in our neighborhood (the grandchildren twin girls and Jonathan included).
The route I have randomly chosen was passing thru the "Tel-Aviv heart" and this remarkable Tel-Aviv institution that is the KIOSK became unavoidable almost the subject of one of my captures. Despite the fact that in many other cities (to name only New York or Buenos Aires) the KIOSK's have an important status, I still believe that in Tel-Aviv they are some kind of essence and for sure part of the city heart and in ... the heart of Tel-Aviv-ians ...
As I got latest info, after publishing, the KIOSK in the pic is actually a replica of the first KIOSK in Tel-Aviv, perhaps some more than 100 years ago ...

Interesting, i´ve seen similar looking kisosks in Germany there mostly older ones and there are only few,
but they still exist the more modern ones are square or in a normal strore space.
