Red Transport

One of the most impacting impressions that we have experienced during our last visit of several days in Zurich was the tram transportation.. Even though, we did not manage to use it at all (we were confined to the area defined by a perimeter around the Banhofstrasse - the actual heart of this city) we couldn't avoid or ignore its strong and perpetual presence. Since the late 70's when we first visited this cozy city and still today the Banhofstrasse remains the central urban axis and still keeps its reputation as one of the most commercial streets in Europe gravitating around some of the most elegant and prestigious stores in fashion, jewelry and watches. Since, as I know, my friend @ GDupons who is a great specialist in all technical matters concerning transportation and lives in this wonderful city that is Zurich, I dedicate him the present work and hope the he could kindly add some relevant and interesting information as he likes to do that enlightens not less than the image itself and contribute to a deeper and more complex understanding of the issues involved.
