DOWNLOAD FOR FULL VIEWMy first piece of Starfox fan art and first deviation in months. Apologies for the wait! I needed to do this to unwind and see if I've become rusty when it comes to drawing anthros. I'll let you guys be the judge.
The story behind the piece is the fact I am getting a little impatient with Nintendo as my favourite franchise of theirs (no prizes for guessing which one it is) has had absolutely nothing said about it for ages and I am missing it greatly. Here's hoping what my picture shows is happening for real somewhere.
I also wanted to tackle Fox's Brawl uniform which has a lot of intricate details. Plus his overall appearance has changed a lot since Adventures (the game I personally think Fox looks the best in, Brawl being a close second).

Finally someone is also with me on this! Thank you! (I'm super late on posting this comment. This was made in 2008 and is now 2014 ) I hope they aren't done with Starfox and just threw it out the window. Because WE aren't done with this long lost series. (And we won't be for a loooooooooong time) We need to somehow get the idea of Starfox back into Nintendo's mind. Somehow...

I wouldn't really want a SF for wii, cause I didn't really like assault, I really didn't really like command, if they were to keep the pattern I'd end up getting very angry at SF. But that's just my opinion.

This is amazing! I love the fur and colors. Everything about it is amazing. And I've been dying for a StarFox game for Wii. So long since the last StarFox game. I just wish they'd say if they had one in the making so we StarFox fans don't have to suffer so much! Any way, great job on the picture, I love it!

I have heard rumours that the looks of the team in Brawl would be the looks of the characters in the next game. I have a feeling that this might not be the case but it would be good as I believe the guys looked alright.
As for the WiiSpeak, I thought that would be released with the Animal Crossing game. It would make the most sense as that is probably the one thing that series is lacking. Also, instead of just for online play, the creators could use it during single player where you command your team mates by saying a few key words.
If no word is said about it early next year, I will start wondering what exactly Nintendo are doing as it will be over two years since the console first went on sale. Roll on 2009 in that respect

I agree. Besides, I have a feeling that those will be the uniforms that they will be wearing for the next game. For WiiSpeak, it can be bought separately. Even the Lylat Cruise arena in Brawl has to be served as a promo for their next game. For single player, I'm not sure since we can hear the characters in the game chat with each other. But in co-op play if they put it in, I can see it work its magic. ^^
