Keep in mind I not against this ship (ok maybe I'm bias about it). Despite of Lapis and Peridot having more screentime in the barn. However unlike Ruby and Sapphire, these two so called "couple" they barely even talked to each other. Yes Peridot did apologise her but was only for once, all the rest are (no offense) useless garbage. Peridot become more annoying and Lapis is being a jerk. All of these make wanna thinks that Lapis should deserves more to Jasper than Peridot. Keep in mind, during the early season, Peridot is also one who took Lapis hostage, and also the one who was trying to kill off the Crystal Gems which includes Steven, making us wonder to think if Lapis would tolerate this, I mean after all, she keep saying she'll do anything to "protect Steven." Even though the Malachite fusion was one of the dumbest way to "protect Steven" in fact it would even make Jasper stronger. Anyway, not only for Peridot to kidnaps Lapis and tries to kill the Crystal Gems, but even after her redemption arc she couldn't even felt guilty for contacting Aquamarine. After Malachite fusion, I was expecting for Lapis if not Jasper, but a least a Pearl would've made more sense to ship with, but nope all Lapis gets end up is with Jar Jar Binks equivalent of Invader Zim. before you say something, I don't really hate Peridot as a character infact I'm really glad to see her as redeemable, but shipping Lapis would be no reason for their relationship especially what Lapis have been through. Right now, they might not hate each other, but certainly not in love with each other. Then again, this just my personal opinion. Good artwork by the way.

Yes, Always make the sketchs, study anatomy, studies others artist styles and you can use bases (is very good to during learn) if you are study anatomy, there's no problem when you use pose to reference
