I honestly don't even take gender into consideration most of the time, I just enjoy how certain personalities work together! I think my hetero and homo ships are split about evenly tbh. It actually annoys me when people ~only~ ship all the guys just because they're all guys. eh... (btw psst yaoi is a word for gay porn, and not really a blanket term for male/male ships)
Also, sometimes I think a friendship relationship between two chars is super meaningful on its own and I feel it's unnecessary and silly to pair them romantically. Because other types of relationships are just as important! That being said I friendship-ship pretty much everyone by default yeesss
It seems like you ship a lotta anime pairings! I only watched the first few seasons since I grew up with them. Ash/Misty and Jessie/James are pretty good as far as anime pairings go imo! uwu

Yeah, I'm a little into Pokemon/human pairings, but mostly because I think Ash and Pikachu make great best buds, and I only Ship EonShipping because of the conundrum in the fifth movie: Latias can transform into humans that she sees, so she often walks Altomare as her human friend, Bianca. Well, it shows in the movie that the real Bianca was a great painter, and Latias has a bit of a crush on Ash.
