Description
This is done on a 4inch x 4inch area and on bristol paper. I used no brushes and just used skewers to mix the paint to look like this and 'scratch' it to the way I want. For only doing this once I really like how it came out and plan to do it some more. The painting is for a greating card assignment.Related content

Beleive it or not I never actually owned any brushes I could paint with, just these very large ones so I had no element of detail whatsoever. This was really the first painting that I made and it was all with the skewer style. I should really consider returning to it since I have painted the other way now.
