ah the characters sprites are the images used in the VN itself while you're playing it. Characters tend to have one image/sprite each with several expressions to show the emotions of the story.

is there a technique you use to drawing wrinkles on clothing and where they are and stuff?? I really like your art btw <3333 <3

I don't have any technique in particular I think, I just color it the same way I color most stuff. If it helps, the tools I use for coloring are the default round brush (both hard and soft), the marker tool in sai (in a new layer than the base colors so it paints instead of blending) and the blur tool to soften stuff.
