I missed the last loading screen contest, so this time I made sure to enter. For the MMO I play, Megaten: Imagine Online. :3I don't really care for the other prizes. I simply would be so excited to see my own art being used in the game. So wish me luck~

I think that Nekomata is biding her time 'til she jumps down and kicks some doggy butts. Kajis is likely going to be caught in the crossfire...

Hee~ thank you very much! Your comments and critique are very appreciated! I guess the overall thing that seems to need work on is the grass...people keep mentioning it.
The nekomata was redrawn four times for this picture alone...I don't normally draw very big, so it's a surprise anything got cut off. She actually does have very nice hands (that can claw our faces off)

Well I must say I really like this picture a whole lot! The prospective is really good and the characters are cute and different and poor Kaji!
The only thing I can see that could be change is the texture of the tree and grass. The tree is too smooth I think and should be ruff when you look at it it also might be a little too dark which is why i might be having an issue with it. The grass is another thing. I feel that is is too much of a flat color. When you look at grass there are all kinds of colors with in it. There will dark greens to bright yellows depending on the grass that you want to use. Also adding a little texture tot he grass would really make it pop! I see that you did add some texture but maybe a little more is in order for this.
Other then that you did a wonderful job on this! I love how the shadows of the tree really bring this all to life and how the characters are beautifully detailed! Good luck in the contest!

Well, ya got to work with a program for awhile to begin to understand it. It took me a couple of weeks (maybe months?) to get used to SAI. My work looked like shiiiiit when I first started using it (there's some in the back of my gallery). But tutorials and just messing around got me used to the tools.
Now I'm trying to learn how to properly use Corel Painter. Now THAT is frustrating me... but I'm just learning a little at a time and asking people questions as I go along.
If you want to try SAI again, feel free to ask me anything you may want to know. I don't know close to everything about it yet, but I'll explain what I can.

It's always cool to meet new players. New or old~ I've been on for about 2 years and am only lvl 69 currently. Kajis had quit for a lil while, but now he's back and trying to close the 30 lvl gap between us.

ONLY level 69?! Haha xD well as far as I'm concerned I think that's pretty good. SMT is a very challenging game to pick up on. I was VERY lucky the first time I played to find someone kind and patient enough to teach me the ropes and even GIVE me some really good equipment to start me out. And he is still teaching me new stuff about the game every now and then haha. Well I wish Kajis the best of luck with catching up to you
