Sunday Feature #23Every sunday I do a feature to show you some of the gorgeous art that i've found on dA during the week. Certainly there are much more pictures in my favourites but these are my absolute highlights.
Thanks to the artists for sharing these beautiful works with us. Please make sure to have a look at their gallerys and to show them some love.

The flying birds really gives the scene a sense of movement, as well as draws the viewer's eye across the scene. The apartment flats and doors, when looked at as geometric gray and black rectangles, create an interesting, repeating rhythm. The more straightforward rhythm of the rectangles complements and plays off of the more erratic movement of the birds, challenging the viewer to find a similar rhythm in their flight. The placement of the woman just a little off-center gives the piece very asymmetrical balance. Altogether, it creates a sense of unease, but the sense of wider space and scope gives the scene a sense of awe. As in, both the viewer and the woman are looking at a bigger, unfolding event.

Awesome shot! I love the contrast between the girl being still and the birds moving, great work!
