Have I mentioned I want Apple White to go evil? Like, so badly it’s not even funny. Let me also be clear, I don’t necessarily want it to be permanent. In fact, I want it to be like Elphaba in the Wicked musical. She gets caught up in her own pain and anger and loses her way until Raven Queen helps her find herself again.
But yeah, I watched Disney’s Descendants today (eh.), but found that I really like Sofia Carson’s version of “Rotten to the Core.” So I decided to draw my version of an evil Apple. (I spent forever on that apple. And I wish I had been able to pull off the dark red and black streaks I wanted in the hair…)
Also if the fandom doesn’t have a name for this version of her, I vote Rotten! Apple White. Because you know, she’s a bad apple and all rotten on the inside then. Hurrhurr. I crack myself up.

Ever After high Can not be a cross over between them. PLEASE TAKE IT OFF RIGHT NOW!!! IT"S BOTHERING ME SOO BAD!!! It would be better with the crossover with Regel Academy with Ever After High. But not with Descendants I don't like that at all

I am not obligated to do anything for you unless you commission me. My art, my decision to post it or not. I draw what I want and choose what I post. Unless you're paying me to draw for you, you don't get a say in my art. And no, throwing a tantrum won't change that. Not to mention, the more you whine, the more it inspires me to draw more EAH stuff, lots of it inspired by Descendants. I'm petty like that.
Also, I have survived the shipping wars of Avatar the Last Airbender. That really made it so I will never give a damn what anyone says about my ships, inspiration, or crossovers.

Descendents are related to Monster High than Ever After High. Even though it is about fairytales, but the music and the colors are exactly like monster high.

I'd argue the themes of Descendants match Ever After High better as a major theme of Descendants is choosing to follow the previous generation or to make your own path. Same as Ever After High. And these also tie in strongly with the idea of good vs evil and whether they are as polarized as we think. Another concept touched on in Ever After High. The themes of change and friendship are also core in both shows as well. And as far as colors... you might want to look again at the Rebel side of Ever After High since it is highly influenced by goth, punk, and lolita fashions. Many of the dress styles are goth or lolita inspired, but have very goth or punk color schemes, rather than lolita colors. For examples of this check out: Raven Queen (less lolita and more gothic inspired with very goth/punk coloring), Melody Piper (very much punk styled), and Poppy O'Hair (hints of punk).
Meanwhile, Monster High is less about destiny and choice and more about acceptance of others and self-love. These themes do not appear in Descendants or Ever After High really. Sometimes they appear in a very subtle way, but only when they tie into the actual themes or tie into an individual character's struggles (see Cerise Hood, Lizzie Hearts, and Duchess Swan). They are by no means overarching themes and do not drive the plot. In fact, we can argue that Monster High has no overarching plot really beyond "monsters as teenaged girls, living secretly in the human world." They're attempting to give more, but so far, any plot has been short-lived in Monster High.
You are complaining about superficial concepts, rather than the actual plot, themes, or ideas. I prefer looking at my favorite shows for more than superficial things and choose to focus on characterization, plot, themes, and talent. I do this not only because I enjoy that, but also because I recognize that I will always be learning and that analyzing what works and speaks to audience can help me reach my own audience. Not to mention, they provide far more fodder for my own art than the superficial.
I wasn't suggesting a crossover. I was saying that the soundtrack of Descendants directly inspired this piece and spurred me on to finally draw Apple switching sides and that in general, I've found the soundtrack inspirational for Ever After High art.
Also, just because you don't think something meshes doesn't mean it's a bad piece. Ditto for if you don't like an idea. Just because it doesn't suit your personal taste does not mean it won't suit another's or that it's a bad idea. Rather than saying it's "a bad picture" because you don't like it, walk away and find other art that does suit your taste without a word. Or even better, if you must comment, give actual good criticism.

Well not really for me!!!! Its just the music and the style. Well, unless if they are monsters. I say Descendants is more better with Monster High than Ever After High!!! And I am sorry for saying a mean comment. I also create a a fan club of Monster High and Descendants called MonsterDescedants. If you join me, we can be friends.

Uh, no. Especially seeing as 1) Monster High has always been lackluster for me, and 2) we have two very different views on media (shallow vs deep). Aesthetics do not cut it for me. Never have and never will because I've never been that shallow.

As far as I'm concerned she's already evil-she doesn't really care what happens to anyone else so long as she gets a happy ending. And she had the nerve to call Raven selfish!

I wouldn't say she's evil now, just very selfish and blind and set in her ways. Being selfish doesn't make you evil, nor does being blind to someone else's plight. None of those attributes make you a villain. It is how you act based on those attributes that determine what your role is. So far, she has done more positive things than negative. I won't consider her a villain until she actively and intentionally starts exploiting her selfish desires and ignorance.
All that aside, she does care for others, but in her mind following your destiny has no downsides even if you're a villain because she views that as what you were meant to do, your ultimate goal in life. No matter how horrible your ending, she sees the ending the ultimate balance to keep everything perfect.
I can't even hate her all that much as that's a perfectly logical product of the upbringing she's had. She's basically been told her entire life that this destiny is all she is good for, all she's meant to do in life (even if that's not what they meant to do.). She's constantly been promised what is in essence the world, and now she's seeing this perfect vision of hers fall apart. Suddenly, her world's falling apart and she's not sure how to deal with this. She's never had to face uncertainty before and so an unknown future scares her because it is just that: unknown. Apple's never had to find out what she is or what she wants; it's always been handed to her by her elders. She's always known and blindly accepted this. So now she can't adjust to this new limbo or seek advice because this has never happened before. She's in uncharted waters unwillingly, and so she latches onto the only thing she has left: the belief that because she is "good" she deserves a happily ever after. She clings to this as a defense mechanism because she cannot bring herself to face the truth that it is not her destiny alone and she cannot force everyone to cave to her whims.
She's starting to see some of the problems in her thinking and with luck that'll lead to her realizing just how much of her "I am good" is a farce when her actions are saying the opposite. But for now, I really dislike her character and how the writers have dealt with it. (Especially Way Too Wonderland. Just... ugh! I did an entire rant on that on tumblr...)
Honestly, I could talk about the pros and cons of Apple's character for ages (and I kinda have on tumblr a little more...) but we'll just leave it at I don't hate her completely or consider her evil, but she is not my favorite character by far. She's more interesting to me as a foil to Raven than in any other way.
Also, I now feel like I should write some in depth analysis of Raven and Apple or something... But my brain also says I have better things to do... like work on my novel.

I really wanted to see more of dark Apple in that episode and more. I kinda want to see her in clothing like Raven's or Faybelle

Oh, I was in heaven that episode. If I had my way, eventually it would come out that everyone's dark sides in that episode only existed because there was a seed of it before. So the curse more of brought the hidden to the front and let it flourish.
Well, I did have the idea of drawing Apple seeking out the Evil Queen eventually and totally being all "Make me your apprentice." ...Maybe eventually.
