Nah, (this is a really late reply but I wanted to answer your question anyways) Holmes is scared, for lack of a better word, of horses- In the one scene of the movie he rides that miniature horse because he doesn't want to ride one of the bigger ones- and either the connection with Moriarty's 'fish/fisherman' theory or his fall from Reichenbach Falls (I highly suppose the latter) makes him fear water.
A creepy song containing both is probably not Holmes's cup of tea.
Come on, Watson, you should know Holmes better than that!
