It's Arty this time~ I've recently finished reading The Lost Colony, and looks like someone not only has gotten bigger (well, by not much, actually), but also has gotten into BIGGER trouble.Behind Artemis is a painting by Juan de la Abadia. I'm still experimenting here and there with lotsa stuff, soooo... not particularly happy with how this came out..
Oh well~~~ I have to study for my Mandarin finals now.

this book reminds me of the Black butler anime seres. a young boy with the weird eyes, head of a company and has a powerful butler.

The new book has been out for I think a month now... and I still don't have it :'(
Any way, the BG reminds me of how he was 'collecting' paintings in Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception. And I love that you took into account the eyes

This is so........Artemis-y! I love how his eyes look so enigmatic, like he's laughing at something he knows you'll never understand; can you say genious plotting any better than that half smile? And the painting background seems to fit the series well; mixing modern stuff like him and the fairy technology, and old stuff like fairies and all the creatures that aren't supposed to be real. Really great work as usual!

I haven't read this one, but I've read the other ones and I totally love 3 things:
1) this guy...the sexiest ever
2) the story...go Mr. Colfer!!!
3) your artwork, it's very nicely done and totally awesome.
