Description
This is a way over due gift forI am no big fan of the series "Legend of Zelda." I remember the classic one. That was the only game I played other than the gameboy color version. I really didn't know what type of Link to draw. There were so many styles and versions of him. x___x
But I thought I would just do the old mini cartoon show version of him and the newer game version of him going back to back with each other. I would do a background but I don't really care about having a background for this. Too lazy...
This would be my first drawing of both versions of Link ever… so they aren’t as great as the originals… I tried though.
Anyhow, enough chat. I hope you like it Hezaa! ^_^;
Edit: Making written copyrights on all my work itself to protect the image. Most of them were redone to look half-way decent for my portfolio. My apologizes for spamming your devwatch lists for this. At least I don't have many like some other people do, eh.

I love this! I honestly love Link both blond and dark-haired! Although, I'd like to see the return of dark-haired Link eventually.

the funny thing is that although OoT Link is from a more recent game he's really centuries older than Link from the first games.
FUCKED UP IS IT NOT?

I like it! It brings a sort of nostalgia to gamers who've been around long enough to have played the very first Zelda games. I like how this pic creates sort of an 'old meets new' feeling. And you did both versions great! In my opinion, you did old Link better than the original! (I never really liked the way the original old Link looked.)

The mini-cartoon version of him has less hair. I'm currently working on a spoof of that old cartoon. I sorta made a preview of it in my deviant art, but I screwed up the preloader. It's pretty good, but I'm remaking it and the next time I post it it'll have more to it. I have this huge script written out and I've only animated a small portion of it.
The link you drew kind of looks like the link on the cover of the DVD box, I have the DVD and a VCD collection of it, and I used to have a ton of bad quality RM's of the series too.

Well, I took different references for Link of all the games and styles. I liked the Nintendo 64 version of him most. So I went with that design. At least, I think that was the design for him.
And the one you see showing his back is the Link on the cover from that DVD you have. I used to watch the Mario Brothers show on TV every Firday only for the mini cartoon series of Link. I disliked the live action of the Mario Brothers, but I tolerated it for Link's sake. hehe. I'd wake up at 5am just to watch it. x__X I don't have the DVD myself but my friend who loves Link does. I missed that cartoon show. Good times, good times.
