Description
A piece of work I did for my school's mangaka club's Christmas Contest (I tied for First place that year). Around that time, announcement of Super Smash Bros. Brawl game was made, so I got really excited about new characters like Pit. Then one day, I just felt like making an OC to go with him, and the name Mary popped into my head. I know how much ppl hate OCs, and with a name like Mary (Mary Sue?) I didn't think she had much of a chance. However, her design just came to me naturally, so I decided that she'll be okay
Her hair is a bright pink and is very spiky (the pink is sorta like Yachiru from Bleach's hair, although I did not read Bleach at that time). She's a descendant of the Greek God Hypnos, thus the ears. Her outfit is practically the same as Pit's outfit. She has amber eyes.

There's nothing wrong with OCs. Anyways, she does look quite lovely and sweet. She reminds me alot of that girl on Kingdom Hearts (except the ears of course.)
The shading on the outside is alittle uneven (particularly on the area above Mary's head where the lead streaks are fairly wide) The faces look very well done. Especially Pit's hair (I bet that part was a bitch to do) and Mary's eyes.
However, your work probably improved alot since then (I noticed the date was 12-17-06 near the signature). Congratulations on first place
