Description
This is a colored version of my old black and white digital painting (2005). I finally got an inspiration about what I should do with the background
(You can see the unfinished pic in my scrapbook [link] It is an experiment with digital oils in Corel Painter.)The final coloring was also done in Corel Painter. I used various layer effects to add color to the black and white image. Then I created new layers for smoke and lights. The last touch was painting some more white light on his cape and helmet, and then some red and green lights on his chestplate.
Deviation title is Vader's line from Star Wars: A New Hope.

I never watched Star Wars, but now that I got all 6 movies I definitly do it. Still I have lots of knowledge about characters and plot. WhoΒ΄s your favourite character?
Mine are Galen Marek and of course Darth Vader. I know heΒ΄s evil, but I think I understand what his motivations are

My favourite is Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, I think that without him in the movies I'd never been a SW fan at all.
Then I like Darth Revan (as a male since in the beginning of the game you can choose) and Starkiller.( I've drawn them all
