my first pair of hooves i made back in february 2013. I call them the real-digi style because they have no heel, you walk on the balls of your feet, forcing a natural digitigrade stance. :>
I am currently not open for commisions at the moment, but i will be selling some pre-mades in february at Kami-Con, and march at FWA, as well and after that i will open for customs! Please check back and keep an eye out for udpates
i use a hard, machine-grade urethane resin, meaning it will take alot of effort to wear these hooves down. I have worn these to three cons for a total of 6 con days, as well as 2 full days at a rennaissance festival. lots of concrete and gravel, indoor and outdoor, and they have maybe worn down 2-3mm at the back end of the hoof

sorry i didn't see this message until recently, i've been sick since september of 2015, slowly getting better and back into the swing of commissions and costumes. I don't want to give her a bad rep, but you would be better off finding someone else to make hooved shoes. I order some from her and I have been waiting for them sense January, and now I'm having trouble getting to me in the mail.

the ones in shop are for unfinished, if you want them furred and everything, let me know, because i have alot of furs already in stock and will likely be able to find something and only cost like 40-50 more for fur rather than like 70 or 80 more if i had to buy whole yards of color

perfect, no what my boyfriend and I both are looking for is the basic hooved shoe (for a couple cosplay) with the leggings, no fur on them I was going to make the fur pants myself for a job I'm hoping to get next fall. how much would the hooves be with the leggings added?

the leggings are made of fur themselves, there is no lining, i tell people to wear tights or leggings under them, and thick socks with the hoes. the shoes go just past the ankles when worn without leggings, i could make them knee high but i would need a duct tape dummy of your lower leg going as high as you'd want , i could make leggings out of fleece or something but there isn't much point. the way the leggings are made is via a duct tape dummy you provide, and i make a fitted pattern from there.
Price of single color furred shoes, you supply shoes, will be around $120-35 [depending on shoe size and whether i can use a fur i already have] per pair, i can probably discount $10-$15 by shipping them together rather than separately. Depending on how tall you are, fur leggings range from about $60 [usually for shorter ppl which only need a yard of fur] to $90 [taller people who need more than a yard] so like...
assuming you two are 5'6 or taller, and got furred shoes and fur leggings, you'd be looking at about $440 for two pairs, which includes estimates cost of $20-30 to ship them back to you two. no fur leggings, you're looking at about $260 for two pairs of furred shoes, including estimated $20 for shipping.

disregard the question I had asked, I been doing some thinking and just going with fur might be the better choice in the idea I have.
I don't have the money or the shoes right now, but when the time comes I will give you the heads up of two orders coming in. One for me and one for my boyfriend.

I had gotten a few tips from someone else I was thinking about buying from. But they were a little bit to expensive, but nice about helping me. As soon as I get my money in I'll be heading out to go shoe shopping.
Thinking and talking it over with my cosplay partner we agree that we'll most likely get fur added to our shoes. White fur for me and Black fur for him, no patterns or anything, just solid colors. We also agreed to not get the hooves painted, looking so nice and natural with an age effect!

I was just wondering if instead of fur on the outer layer there was leggings that went past the ankles, I have plans to make fur pants that go over the leggings and reach to near the hoof, nothing fancy about it doesn't need to be made out of fleece and are only one solid color. Mostly for the use of extra showing that isn't covered by the fur pants. Not sure if i'm explaining it the right way, I'm poor at explaining things.
under stockings of course will be woren but I was looking for something to go over the shoe to look like the skin you would find under the plet, just something flat and a solid color. My satyrs aren't all that fancy, they're pretty classy and simple. A white Unicorn Satyr named Leila and a black male unicorn satyr named Virgil.
Providing the shoe wouldn't be a problem I'm already on the look out for some right now. Speaking of which do I have to remove the heel before I would send them to you?

i dont mind international shipping but it will cost ALOT because the shoes are still pretty heavy even though i use a relatively light resin. It depends what size you are. Womens 8 and under [mens 6 and under, i think?] start at $75 USD for just the hoof cast, with no cleanup/sanding. sizes larger, i still have to make the expanded mold so you'd be waiting a bit longer, but those would start at $85 unfinished. For fully cleaned up, painted, and single-color fur, you'd be looking at $180-200 USD depending on the fur [i have many in stock already but might not have what you want, in which case i'd have to order, and it's usually 20-30 USD per yard, and most places have minimum order of 1 yard]
if i remember correctly, last time i priced shipping hooves it looked liek it would be between 30-45 USD? but i don't remember, i'd have to check again and see what options i can get.

also the foam on the legs looks wonderful, i never did like the bulkiness it gives but it just looks natural in yours, makes you look part Clydesdale!

Thanks. ^^ It was at the Texas Rennaissance festival. I was originally going for some other type of horse but I had to extend the fur at the bottem to cover the hoof boots. Considering I'm nearly 6'8 wearing everything I think half Clydesdale works. lol

ah okay, it's always funny to me how similar certain ren fest locations look to one another haha.
6'8?! that explains why it looks so proportionate and natural then haha i have never seen foamed legs look decent on anyone under 6' man well done. hehe i think the extended fur looks really nice actually, clydesdale or no. looks more natural to me. horse costumes/fursuits with short fur the whole way through jsut never look quite right IMO

Glad you like them. The girl I had commission them did a great job but I had to do a lot of modifications ex: making the actual legs longer and adding a clasp where it buttons up/ties. People keep telling me I need to add horns but horses don’t have horns. Speaking of fauns/satyrs I think would be funto have a faun/satyr meet up at some faire or con and have a herd lol.

and horns? haha they probably don't realize it's a horse, not alot of people know what sileni. there's a fad going around where i live [and maybe elsewher,e idk] where girl dress as fauns, but its this "lolita faun" think, but all it is is lolita dresses, deer makeup [like in my satyr costume], and either deer ears or little antlers, and they call it fauns. it's base don the "fawn lolita" style, but i think something got lost in translation and now they call themselves fauns, and it's killing me i just wanna be like NO THAT'S NOT A FAUN FAUNS ARE HALF GOAT not to mention alot of them don't realize that a faun is not a symbol of innocence and purity XD [not to bash the ladies, really the style is adorable, i just hate that they use the wrong words half the time XD fawn=/=faun]
and SPEKAING OF group, i actually have a squad of satyrs going to a con here in GA, it's a small one, seishun con, some of the ppl have done satyrs before and some haven't, so we're organizing a group t have a satyr takeover! 8D lol. i'm gonna try to contact GA Ren Faire and see if i can get them to make a posting about Satyr costumes for one of their weekends, when i went this year apparently there happened to be another satyr there the same day, and everyone kept telling me they liked how much more natural mine looked [i figured out she had foam legs and they must have been bulky, but i n ever did find her]

They were made at Foxysox studios by the very talented Melissa Weber. She did a stellar job considering. I only had to make some minor adjustments. The horse tail she made is SICK since it match’s my own hair exactly and moves and feels like a real horse tail. I’m planning on making it animatronic with a button board controller in the next few weeks.
Sadly Sileni’s are rare. I think I might be the first and only one out there. -_- Goats and deer are still cool though.
No kiding about lolita “fauns”. It annoys me to. You’re supposed to have the legs, butt and tail of a hoofed animal preferably a goat or ram. Plus fauns/satyrs/sileni’s are NOT innocent by any stretch. What’s even better is that the 3 girls who first started that trend on tumblr got really annoyed that everyone copied there makeup style until it exploded into the current fad.

i haven't seen another sileni costumer, but then i haven't seen that many other actual fauns/satyrs either XD hahaha i don't even know who started that lolita trend thing but that totally figures they'd be pissy about it. lolitas [for the most part] are so stuck up xD it's sad, cause i love their fashion and would love to get into it, but i can't stand the people :/
we have 13 so far! idk how many will stick with it through the end, may end up being only 5 or 6, but it's better than just one! most everyone will be goats and have season themed [do decide like fur length and armor/clothing style], but three of us are going to be deer, main difference will be antlers instead of ram/goat horns. Seeing your sileni, i'm tempted to see if my friend mike wants to be a sileni instead of a satyr. He's 6'10, with hooves alone he'll barely make it through doorways, so it's not like we can ive him giant horns too, as much as i want to XD haha
and no i haven't seen that series, i've seen screenshots but never gotten to watch it. maybe i'll check it out over winter break

Yep yep. I will post a link on my furaffinity account and on my youtube once i get the tail working. Its mainly for a semi-realistic centaur costume ( walking back legs and moving tail) im starting to make but it should work for both costumes. Hmmmmm speaking of youtube, if you want I could send the link of the youtube video I posted of how they look and walking in them. Might help your friend if he wants to go with a sileni instead of a satyr. That’s also a ton of satyrs! Even if you had 6 that would still be a ton. What is the theme going to be for your group? Aside from a satyr group. If you get a large group for the GA ren faire I might have a reason to visit Atlanta besides hanging out with the few people I know at the CDC. It looks nothing like what was shown on the walking dead btw.

me and two other gals are gonna be deer with antlers, and our theme is times of day. morning, evening, and night. I am evening, lots of grays and some purples, medium length fur with flowy hoof fringe, and archer/ranger themed outfit. night is shaggy fur, black/red or black/blue, warrior themed. day is white/pink, short fur, mage/shaman themed i think. it's all still a bit up in the air though.
