Description
The theme for this week was "freefall" and I've been reading a little to much Calvin and Hobbes lately. In general this was really fun to do. I kind of wish I had spent more time fixing lines and stuff but I'm running out of time. (I also wish I was better at coming up with one-liners)

Loved it! I really like both the style of the drawings and the dialogues. And to be reminded of Calvin and Hobbes

It brought a smile to my face when i read "However, thanks to The Eggheads Guide to Wagon Riding..."
Two of my most favorite things in the world brought together. Great job!

I read a lot of Calvin and Hobbes as a kid, and I gotta say this brings back memories. As some people have said before, the lack of cleaning up on the characters does kind of make them clash with the background, but this is still an awesome comic.

This is a hysterically awesome and beautifully executed homage to C&H. The opening, the dreaming style, the wagon ride, and especially the meaningful dialogue are fantastic. The only thing that's tough to get used to is Twilight Sparkle having a nose (in bed). Cleanup could have been a little better too, but it's very understandable considering this is an ATG project β you did a tremendous job with just one week to work with, between real life and all that. You did a fantastic job with the challenge.

Lol, yah I've seen some people draw they're snouts that way and it look just fine, seems like I wasn't able to pull it off right.
Real life actually made me but off doing this until the saturday before it was due... anyway thanks a lot for the comment

Personally I think you read just the right amount of Calvin and Hobbes lately
I think this sequence was one of C&H's strengths. The visuals break up the flow of the dialogue so author could be much more wordy than usual and really get a tad philosophical without boring the reader.

He may have, or it could just be the perspective. You never know for real. Of course, it could also be the space-time continuum not behaving itself. It will do that every once in a while.

Great work

I'm actaully pretty surprised, you seem to be the only person to ask about that.
Just based on how the doll looks I imagined a real version of smarty whouldn't look very feminine.
(The current design was what came out on impulse.)
If I ever do more of these I want to make it extremly hard to tell what gender she is.
