Description
The theme for this week was "freefall" and I've been reading a little to much Calvin and Hobbes lately. In general this was really fun to do. I kind of wish I had spent more time fixing lines and stuff but I'm running out of time. (I also wish I was better at coming up with one-liners)

Dude! This is genius and you're a genius! I laughed almost as much at the joke as I did at the reference (it's the good kind of laughter).

I love this. Also there is no such thing as too much Calvin and Hobbes, or too much My Little: Friendship is Magic.

Blasphemy, You can NEVER read too much C&H.
...But, Yes, This is pretty amazing. And also the only other thing I've fave'd. The first was the Scootaloo hang-gliding flash game.

Silly Twilight, chiropractic is pseudoscience.
I guess it may work in a world full of magic, though.

Personally from one who owned all the books I say you did a fantastic job. And there is NO SUCH THING as reading too much Calvin and Hobbs!

This is the best thing I could of ended my night with. Twilight and Smartypants make bestest Calvin and Hobbs.
Honestly the best comic ever to grace a newspaper, now retold through a lavender pony's eyes. Great stuff indeed.

I remember reading this in Calvin and Hobbes when I was 6. And 7. And every single year after that. Fantastic adaptation to a wonderful comic series.

I could read Twily philosophy all day. There's a certain elegance to this, juxtaposing the fast moving wagon with Twily's logical monologue. In short; it's very very good.

oh god.
this is the perfect mix.
of homage and emulation.
it reads as a c&h strip.
but is clearly not a copy.
and the characters are their own.
it's great, really.

Beautiful.
These were my favorite C&H strips.
When they contemplate the facets of reality as the wagon careens down a hill to it's inevitable crash.
It always seemed that the author was portraying a representation of life it's self, we do our best to understand the world around us as we hurtle unstoppably towards our demise.
Again, wonderful work. Also, excellent insight.

This is just perfect. I like how the conversation follows the same timing and philosophical depth of the source material without directly copying any conversation C&H actually had. The subject matter is tailored precisely to Twilight's personality (I doubt Calvin would ever be caught extolling the virtues of reading), and she stays true to character throughout, but the lines feel like they could have been written by Watterson himself. Congratulations.

Excellent work, looks good and does a good job of capturing the spirit both Twilight and Calvin. Love it.

You can never read enough Calvin and Hobbes. This is just...
ASTOUNDING.
You perfectly, PERFECTLY imitated Watterson's style, blending a classic C&H sunday comic set-up with a theme applicable to Twilight, keeping it intellectually stimulating like the classic C&H while still having a witty punch-line and gag-tag, emulating Watterson's comedic timing down to a hair's breadth of accuracy.
This may be may favorite MLP comic. #1. No competition. I'm blown away by this, and this amount of smiling HURTS.
